FSSC 22000-Q  - Food Safety System Certification & Quality management system certification

FSSC 22000 has been a Global Food Safety Initiative recognised scheme since 2010, meeting the highest standards globally for the international food industry. The Scheme uses international and independent standards such as ISO 22000, ISO 9001, ISO/TS 22003 and technical specifications for sector specific Pre-Requisite Programs (PRPs), such as ISO/TS 22002-4 for Food Packaging Manufacturing. 

This certification demonstrates our ability to identify and control food safety hazards at all times and ensures our compliance through independent third party auditing. 

ISO Class 7 certified clean room (ISO 14644-1) for hygienic production

Clean rooms are classified according to the cleanliness level of the air inside them, with the class depending on the quantity and size of particles per volume of air. To achieve this standard, the concentration of airborne particles in our clean rooms are strictly controlled via multiple air changes and High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters -  highly efficient at sub-micron particle sizes.

In Hamilton, our entire moulding facility is in a clean room environment for hygienic production from start to finish.

Approved HACCP Contamination Plan 

Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) is a global industry approved systematic approach to the identification, evaluation and control of potential product contamination points based of the following seven principles:

  • Conduct a hazard analysis

  • Determine the critical control points

  • Establish critical limits

  • Establish monitoring procedures

  • Establish corrective actions

  • Establish verification procedures

  • Establish record keeping and documentation procedures

Following an approved HACCP plan provides us with a continuous improvement cycle to prevent issues before they occur, reducing down time and improving efficiency during production.

ALL our products are 100% recyclable WITHIN NEW ZEALAND (that means no energy is consumed shipping it to someone else’s back yard). We recycle 100% of our waste material & we will receive and recycle any of our products at their end of life.
